Walton Evangelical Church has a Leadership Team consisting of the Senior Pastor, Elders and Deacons. We are currently seeking an Assistant Pastor to join the Team.
Simon Robinson
Simon has been Senior Minister of the church since May 2003. Brought
up in Essex, he studied and graduated in Theology in Nottingham and has
been in pastoral ministry since 1988. He is married to Hazel and they
have two sons, Andrew and Matthew.
Simon has a wider ministry in the form of writing and has a number of books published by Day One. These include Growing for God, Jesus: The Life Changer & Opening Up 1 Timothy.
Janet Ayres
Janet Ayres has been working in the church office since May 2007,
although she has been a member of the church for more years than she
cares to remember. Janet is involved with the music group and, with her husband, is a youth leader for the Im’pakt youth group. Community involvement is a big passion and she is busy helping the church to build links with the local shopkeepers, residents and agencies, including the police.
Janet previously spent 7 years working as Support Services Manager
at the Urban Theology Unit in Sheffield. She also currently works for
the Lawyers Christian Fellowship.
